Lightweight plastic with thicker tubing. A GREAT Beginner’s hoop. Lots of tape and increased surface area give it more mass, increased “grip” and therefore make it easier and user friendly. Weight and size offers more resistance when hooping, slows the hoops rhythm down, helping it to feel like an “easy” hoop when first learning. A great abdominal workout hoop. Awakens sleepy core muscles! Some people prefer the chunky grip size and increased surface area of the “Cruiser” making this hoop a popular choice for many hoopers just starting out.
